Ubud is one of the most-visited places in Bali. The beauty of the area is something that you need to see at least once in your life. To get the most unforgettable experience, here are some things that you have to do when you are at Ubud, Bali.

  1. Visit Tegalalang Rice Terraces

Rise and shine early to visit the magical valley of rice terraces: Tegalalang. The many layers of rice fields are the absolute best way to begin your day in Ubud. Because of its popularity its best to visit the terraces before 10 AM to avoid the crowds. Visiting Tegalalang is among the things you have to do in Bali.

  1. Visit Holy spring water of Pura Tirta Empul

This temple is an essential site for drinking holy water from the ground. Both locals and tourists go into the two purification pools where you clean yourself at each one of the 30 stations. The cleaning procedure begins from the left, and lastly ends on the right side. The entry is 15000 IDR (1.42 SGD) each person.

  1. Marvel the Ancient Bali: Pura Gunung Kawi

Pura Gunung Kawi is an area in Bali. A time long ago, houses and temples were carved out from the rocks because people didn’t know how to construct buildings. The entire area is encompassed by beautiful rice paddies. An incredibly recommended thing to do in Ubud!  Again the entry is 15000 IDR (1.42 SGD) each person.

  1. Visit Monkey Forest Ubud

Visiting the Monkey Forest is probably the most popular activity to do in Ubud. At the center of the city, there is a beautiful park without a fence where there are loads of monkeys devote most of their day. And even when you don’t want to see the monkeys, the park itself is a rainforest and a beautiful walk which allows you to escape the buzzing town. The monkeys aren’t really intrigued in you but remember they’re wild, cheeky animals, so the park asks you to adhere to the following rules:

  • Don’t look them into the eyes
  • Don’t smile, showing your tooth is one type of aggression.
  • Don’t feed them
  • Don’t touch the infants

Remove all loose items like jewelry, sunglasses or food, and store them safely in your bag. The entry fee is 50000 IDR (4.74 SGD), and you may easily spend 2 hours here.

  1. Go to Campuhan Ridge Walk

Heat to Campuhan Ridge Walk around sunset time. Campuhan Ridge Walk is the bridge where the two rivers meet in Ubud. The length of the bridge is 2-kilometer long, and it is very popular with both locals and visitors. Some for a walk with their dog, to get a fantastic jog or pictures. It is free for everybody.
