Portugal has been a popular destination for many travel enthusiasts and recently, Valcourt Travel took a small group tour to visit some of the main sites. “We have been wanting to go to Portugal because it’s interesting, active, and has the most diverse landscape.” Tour participants visited the City of Lisbon, Benagil Caves, and Albufeira Beach.
So, if you are ready to see what they did, then keep reading this article!
The City Of Lisbon
Lisbon is a historical city where you can roam around at night or day without a worry in your mind. It’s popular for its colorful and vibrant buildings, deliciously scrumptious food, cool nightlife, and fado music, and the locals are the friendliest. When Valcourt Travel went to the city, the first place that they explored was St. George’s Castle – it’s a historic castle that overlooks Lisbon and has the most stunning millennium-old walls.
Roaming around the castle was tiring, so the group went to savor the most traditional and delicious cod fish cakes. The meal was served with ten-year-old port wine, which had the perfect flavors of blackberry, raspberry, cinnamon, caramel, and chocolate.
Albufeira Beach
Well, after wandering around Lisbon, Valcourt Travel group participants needed some rest, and nobody minds a sunbath, right? For this reason, they took a train south to Albufeira Beac the next day. It was there that Valcourt Travel arranged a boat tour to watch the whales. As soon as they got out of the boat, the group visited the “House of Shell,” a well-known bar that’s decorated with sea shells. In addition, the tour group had dinner at O Zuca Restaurant, where traditional Portuguese food is served.
In collaboration with Quinta da Saudade Tours, Valcourt Travel planned a horseback riding excursion, where everyone in the group enjoyed it to the fullest.
Benagil Caves
The last destination of their trip was Benagil Caves, which is a popular sea cave right around the beach. For those who don’t know, Benagil Caves are the most stunning natural landmark, and Valcourt Travel arranged kayaking for the entire group. “We must say, the rock formation was fascinating!”
